Introducing the EB-3 Visa

The EB-3 Other Worker Visa provides a path to U.S. permanent residency through full-time employment in industries facing labor shortages.  It doesn't require a degree or specialized training—just dedication and a strong work ethic.

Through this program, you and your eligible immediate family members can receive green cards, allowing you to live and work in the United States.  You can begin the process from abroad (Consular Processing) or, if you are already in the U.S. legally, you may be able to adjust your status (AOS).

To qualify, you must:

✓ Have an eligible U.S. employer willing to sponsor you

✓ Commit to a full-time, permanent position

✓ Fill a position U.S. workers did not take

The EB-3 Process Steps

These are the main milestones of your EB-3 journey with U.S. Direct Hire. Once we verify your eligibility, we'll break down every detail so you know exactly what to expect.

Step 1: PERM Application

Employer files a PERM Labor Certification with the DOL to hire the foreign worker.

Estimated Timeline:

12-18 months

American Flag

Move to the US and begin work!

Worker enters the U.S. or adjusts status, obtains a green card, and starts working for the employer.

Estimated Timeline:

<6 months 

Step 2: I-140 Petition​

Employer files an I-140 with USCIS to classify the worker under EB-3 and seek permanent residency.

Estimated Timeline:

<30 days for Premium Processing,

8-12 months for Standard Processing

Step 3: Visa Application

Worker applies for an immigrant visa abroad or adjusts status within the U.S.

Estimated Timeline:

6-18 months depending on visa availability
